Explosive Traffic Co-Op

It has been a while since I joined any new programs since I'm busy enough surfing my current traffic exchanges. However, Explosive Traffic is not a TE, but rather a traffic co-op built with TE surfers in mind. It allows you to get more credits from a wider range of TEs, by surfing the same sites you usually do.

Here's how it works. You earn credits at Explosive Traffic by sending traffic to the co-op rotator. Then you can use those credits to put your own sites on the rotator, which will be displayed on approved sources around the web by thousands of members.

Why not just advertise your sites in traffic exchanges directly like before? Here are the main pros of using Explosive Traffic:

You can surf your favorite TEs, but get traffic from thousands of others. In other words, you reach a wider audience.

If you upgrade, you can actually get more traffic than you send (1.2 view for your sites per 1 view you send to the co-op).

You can also earn 50% commissions as an upgraded member.

I am already getting traffic to my websites from this program. I am sure it's going to become huge in the traffic exchange world! Join Explosive Traffic now and try it for yourself.

Downline Viral Traffic Review

Downline Viral Traffic is a fairly new traffic exchange with some unique features. It offers a standard 10 second timer and 2:1 surfing ratio for free members. There also are text link and banner advertising options, as well as a downline builder and a variety of affiliate tools. This all sounds like a usual traffic exchange so far, so you might ask, what's so special about Downline Viral Traffic? Indeed, it has some really unique things to offer.

First of all, DVT has a sophisticated tracker that shows where traffic to your referral link is coming from, how many people join, and what's the conversion rate for that specific traffic source. Second, they give you a detailed Surf History where you can see the last 100 sites you've viewed, and report any of them that might be breaking rules. This is a big improvement over TEs which only allow you to report the last webpage you've surfed. Finally, the most exciting feature is Activity Rewards.

Activity Rewards system actually allows you to customize your membership level to your needs. You get ARs by surfing, promoting, referring, and winning promotions. Then you can use your Rewards to get a higher surf rate, commission rate, or referral credit rate... Completely free.

That's about it for the more interesting aspects of Downline Viral Traffic. Upgraded members get even more nice things, like earning credits from an unlimited number of referral levels. I suggest joining Downline Viral Traffic and trying it yourself. Unlike some new exchanges, DVT seems to eat credits and deliver traffic at a reasonably fast rate.

Fast Cash and Traffic Review

Fast Cash and Traffic (or FCAT for short) is a pretty new traffic exchange based on the popular LFMTE script. It is also a part of TE Profits downline builder, which is one of the main reasons I've joined.

FCAT is a simple and straightforward traffic exchange. It offers a 15 second timer, 2:1 surf ratio, one-click mass credit assign function, cash commissions, and banner advertising. They also have a downline builder with some popular marketing resources like TrafficWave.

One of the more interesting features of FCAT is login ads. When you login to the members area of Fast Cash and Traffic, you will occasionally be shown a full-page login ad. These cost 5 credits and are a nice way to get your sites seen. Choosing which of your sites will get login ads is as simple as putting a checkmark next to it.

What really sets FCAT aside from other traffic exchanges is their highly affordable upgrades. Silver membership is just $1.75 a month and gives you 125 monthly credits and 50% commissions. Gold is only $3.95 / mo and gives you 65% commissions and 250 bonus hits a month. Furthermore, if you take the One-Time Offer when you signup, you can grab the yearly Gold membership for just $25. It's really amazing, considering some exchanges charge you that much for just one month!

Another important thing to point out is that FCAT only allows upgraded members to surf. This ensures that your ads are seen by real buyers. (Free members can still surf during Fridays). One downside of this is that the credits are being used pretty slowly. That's understandable, however, since the site doesn't have many members yet. Hopefully credit usage will speed up soon, as more members join via TE Profits and other sources. In the meantime, you can convert your credits to banner impressions.

Join Fast Cash and Traffic and try it out - and if you have $25 to spare, I strongly recommend making use of their Gold membership OTO.

TE Club Review

TE Club is a recently launched traffic exchange by Kjell Skogsøy. It runs on a custom script and has lots of interesting features. First, the surfbar: you can actually pick which site you want to view next out of 4 preview thumbnails. I think it definitely makes surfing a bit more interesting than clicking those tiny surfbar images all the time.

The second interesting feature is the traffic exchange rankings. You can vote for your favorite TEs from the members area, and even directly from the surfbar when you are viewing a site that is added to the TE Club ranking system. What's more, you can actually enter your affiliate IDs and get referrals to your favorite exchanges (e.g. ranking list also works as a downline builder).

The OTO upgrade offered by TE Club might be worth your attention. Not only it gives you a nice 65% discount off the yearly membership price and 1,000 credits every month, it also includes a LFM lite membership site script which normally costs $97.

Splash Page Advertising in Traffic Exchanges

When advertising in traffic exchanges, you have to remember that most surfers will not be interested in your site. All they want is that traffic credit they will get by waiting a short amount of time (usually around 10 seconds). You can, however, try and get them out of that "clicking zombie" state by using eye-catching splash pages.

A splash page is used to capture the surfer's attention before they move on to the next site. Here are some tips for creating effective splash pages for traffic exchanges:

1) Write an attention-grabbing headline. It should clearly define what the site or product you want people to see is about. I advice against using cliché headlines like "Discover How You Can Fire Your Boss in 7 Days With This Guaranteed Money Making System™" - most people know already that it's usually an ad for yet another useless e-book. It's better to keep it short and simple.

2) Keep it short and tell people what makes you different. A bullet list might work well to outline the most important information that surfers will find interesting. Pique their interest and make them want to take action to find out more about your offer.

3) Keep graphics to the minimum. A lot of traffic exchange users actually surf with graphics off - if they see nothing where a big image should be (a chart with text, for example), they will leave. That aside, a splash page also has load quickly (remember, you only have 6 to 20 seconds - site loading time included). If you absolutely have to add a big image, don't forget to write an alternate text for it.

4) Keep it silent. Sure, an auto-playing video telling how awesome this product is, will get surfers' attention, but it almost always triggers a negative reaction. Traffic exchange users hate sites with sound! If you absolutely have to add a video or a record to your splash page, let the visitors decide whether they want to hear it or not. Consider the loading time as well. It won't be affected if video will be streamed only if the visitor clicks the "play" button.

5) Add a call to action. That's what visitors do after they read through your splash page: join your mailing list, visit your main website, join the program you promote through your affiliate link, and so on.

6) Track your splash page performance. Create several copies of the splash pages, with different headlines, colors and promotional text. Find out which combination generates most clicks on your links and concentrate on promoting that particular page. ClixTrac does the job very well by counting the page views (via a tracking pixel) and clicks (via a tracking URL) and calculating the CTR for every splash page.

If you're looking for some help designing a good splash page, I suggest trying EasySplashBuilder offered by EasyHits4U exchange, which I use myself.

I wrote this article from a TE surfer's point of view, so you don't have to agree with everything I've said here. I know that, for one, TE marketers love using auto-playing videos and sounds, as much as I hate encountering them while surfing. There is no "best way" to design a splash page. Your best bet is creating something original and different from the cookie-cutter advertisements we see every day.

TeCommandPost Review

I have recently joined a cool program called TeCommandPost. You might have heard about it already as it's being advertised all over TEs - and that's no wonder, considering all the features it offers for us surfers.

First of all, TeCommandPost is a downline builder for traffic exchanges and related programs. You simply enter your referral IDs and then your TECP referrals will join the exchanges under you. This way you can promote one program - TeCommandPost - and grow your downlines in many traffic exchanges at once.

This alone doesn't make TECP all that special, however. I mean, there's already a good downline builder for traffic exchanges called AffiliateFunnel. No, what makes TeCommandPost unique is the fact that it allows you to monitor your traffic exchange credit balances. You just have to enter your username and password once for every exchange (most popular ones like TrafficERA, StartXChange and Traffic-Splash are supported) and then you'll be able to see how many credits your sites have left on all the exchanges you belong to - all on a single page!

As someone who uses many different traffic exchanges, I really appreciate the time I save by using TeCommandPost instead of logging in to 20 exchanges separately to check how my ads are doing.

If that's not good enough for you, let's not forget that TeCommandPost also allows you to monitor your banner and text link balances, as well as provide optional alerts if you credit balance falls below a certain level that you can set freely.

There's also money to be made. The excellent upgrades allow you to enter more traffic exchanges and referral IDs, provide lifetime banner and text link advertising and increase your commissions. As someone who already upgraded and made more than $100 in commissions in just a few days, I'd like to share a tip with you.

Pay very close attention to the OTO (one-time offer) you will receive when you log on to TeCommandPost for the first time. The Platinum membership it offers comes with unique bonuses and a generous 60% commission rate. If you don't upgrade, you miss this opportunity forever, as inside the members area only Silver ($9.97 monthly) and Gold ($19.97 monthly) upgrades are offered... But no Platinum.

Regardless of that, you will still find TeCommandPost very useful even as a free member. You will be able to connect your TECP account to up to 10 exchanges and command all your TE ads from one page and save a lot of time this way.

Earn More Credits with Elite Surf Club

If you are serious about earning credits at traffic exchanges, you probably already are surfing more than one of them at a time (and if you aren't, you should start doing that). This way you can earn credits non-stop instead of waiting for the surf timer. Naturally, you should still pay attention to the website and keep an eye out for prize pages or bonus links. However, that usually takes just one or two seconds instead of 10, which is a common surfbar timer. Your surfing will be really fast if you use a modern tabbed browser like Firefox or IE8 and switch between tabs using Ctrl+Tab keyboard shortcut.

This is not all, however. Three excellent traffic exchanges: RoyalSurf, TrafficWitch and Blue-Surf have teamed up to bring you the Elite Surf Club. Now surfing these 3 TEs together will give you increased surf ratios, additional credits on every purchase, tickets into credit drawings and more, free of charge.

I like to think of it as doing something I already am (surfing these 3 great exchanges) and getting something extra with no additional effort. You don't have to signup anywhere - it's all done automatically, as long as you're a member of all 3. Here are the bonuses in more detail:

Surf 50 sites a day at all 3 exchanges at least 4 days out of the week:

10% surf ratio increase

5% additional credits on any credit purchase

1 ticket into the daily 1000 credit drawing

Surf 100 sites a day at all 3 exchanges at least 4 days out of the week:

20% surf ratio increase

10% additional credits on any credit purchase

3 ticket into the daily 1000 credit drawing

Surf 250 sites a day at all 3 exchanges at least 4 days out of the week:

30% surf ratio increase

15% additional credits on any credit purchase

5 ticket into the daily 1000 credit drawing

Even if you don't like these exchanges for some reason, you only have to surf 4 days a week to get the bonuses, and then you can focus on your other TEs. Can't surf 250 sites a day? No problem, 50 sites a day (only 10 minutes of surfing!) will still get you the 10% surf ratio bonus. And power surfers will really appreciate the 30% ratio increase!

CBPirate Review

As a member of tens of traffic exchanges, I receive a lot of TE news in my e-mail inbox (thank you GMail for the great Filters system). Today I've received several e-mails promoting a new ClickBank product called Clickbank Pirate. Usually I am not one to give in to the hype (in fact, this is only the second CB product I've ever bought) but I decided to give it a try. Hey, if this fails to make me money, I can always start complaining and blame the creators of this system! :)

CBPirate, to put it simply, provides you with professionally designed promotional tools for several Clickbank products. The most important of those are squeeze pages (splash pages with opt-in forms for visitors' name and e-mail). All you have to do is send traffic to the squeeze pages that you are given. In our case, it will probably be traffic from various traffic exchanges - and that's just fine, too. You can also use forum signatures, e-mail sigs, PPC advertising and whatever else you like.

Some of the visitors that you send to CBPirate squeeze pages will inevitably sign up to receive the free information. That's it: your job is done! Clickbank Pirate picks up from here and sends out free reports and promotional e-mails with your affiliate links. This way once you get a visitor to signup, you will keep earning commissions from any purchases they make.

You send traffic... They do the hard work. Sure sounds nice. But will it really work? It all boils down to how effective the squeeze pages are (e.g. the conversion rates), especially when everyone will start using them heavily on traffic exchanges. The Clickbank Pirate membership fee is $47 one time payment + $27 a month, so breaking even should be possible with just a few sales.

I just joined a few hours ago so it remains to be seen if this will work for me. It does look pretty promising so far though, and the idea that all you have to do is send traffic sure sounds nice. I'll keep you updated on my blog.

Go ahead and become a Clickbank Pirate like me. Arrrrrr!

P.S. if you'd like to find out more, I also have a longer Clickbank Pirate review on my blog.

247TrafficPro review

The newest addition to my traffic exchange list is a manual surf site called 247TrafficPro. It belongs to the same owners as two great autosurf exchanges that I'm a member of do, namely 247AutoHits and 365AutoHits so it comes as no surprise that 247TrafficPro is a top notch TE as well. It has a nice professional design, fast surfbar and a number of unique features about which I'm going to write in more detail.

First of all, 247TrafficPro has Hover Surfing which allows you to choose the correct shape on the surfbar without actually clicking it: just hovering your mouse over it is enough, and you can even set the delay in your member options (or disable it if you wish so). Actually, that's what I did since I find clicking to be faster and don't see much point in Hover Surf at all. However, it's nice to have the option and I'm sure some members must appreciate it.

Second, we have Activity Levels in which work similarly to those in StartXChange - but with much bigger rewards, I might add. You get activity points for surfing, referring, simply logging into your account, and promoting. You get a tiny number of activity points for promoting all over the web, and a much bigger amount for showing your referral URL in a special set of "approved" manual exchanges. As for rewards, there are weekly jackpots which combine credits, impressions and cash into one sweet prize. Top 10 members split the jackpot depending on the number of activity points that they accumulated throughout the week.

Finally, 247TrafficPro offers more handy additions that some other traffic exchanges have as well such as Private Messaging, a free rotator for promoting your websites using a single URL, personalized splash pages with your own text and picture, and a downline builder.

Overall 247TrafficPro is a very professional traffic exchange that looks great, loads lightning fast, offers great support and is a pleasure to surf due to responsive surfbar and clean sites. It seems to be a bit under the radar compared to the big boys, but that only means it will be easier to get referrals for you if you join right now. And don't miss the OTOs the first time you login (there's three offers in total - yearly gold membership, 4 months gold membership and an affordable free trial/discount subscription to Bronze which I picked up).

HitLink autosurf review

I've recently joined a brand new autosurf called HitLink. I bet you haven't seen an automatic traffic exchange like this before: it's an autosurf, but it also has social networking features such as friend lists, internal messaging, and rating or tagging of sites (all validated sites can be rated + or - by the members; they can also be tagged with searchable tags). We've seen plenty of such features in manual traffic exchanges like TrafficEra, but never before in an autosurf. HitLink also has other features like activity rank which rises from surfing, although that doesn't seem to do anything right now except for the informational value.

HitLink is growing fast. What are you waiting for? Sign up and start promoting your sites right now!
