CBPirate Review

As a member of tens of traffic exchanges, I receive a lot of TE news in my e-mail inbox (thank you GMail for the great Filters system). Today I've received several e-mails promoting a new ClickBank product called Clickbank Pirate. Usually I am not one to give in to the hype (in fact, this is only the second CB product I've ever bought) but I decided to give it a try. Hey, if this fails to make me money, I can always start complaining and blame the creators of this system! :)

This here is just a short review of this product. I've already written up a full-length no-hype Clickbank Pirate review on my Squidoo lens, so check it out if you want to. I'll just post a very short version here.

CBPirate, to put it simply, provides you with professionally designed promotional tools for several Clickbank products. The most important of those are squeeze pages (splash pages with opt-in forms for visitors' name and e-mail). All you have to do is send traffic to the squeeze pages that you are given. In our case, it will probably be traffic from various traffic exchanges - and that's just fine, too. You can also use forum signatures, e-mail sigs, and even PPC advertising if you'd like.

Some of the visitors that you send to CBPirate squeeze pages will inevitably sign up to receive the free information. That's it: your job is done! Clickbank Pirate picks up from here and sends out free reports and promotional e-mails with your affiliate links. This way once you get a visitor to signup, you will keep earning commissions from any purchases they make.

You send traffic... They do the hard work. Sure sounds nice. But will it really work? It all boils down to how effective the squeeze pages are (e.g. the conversion rates), especially when everyone will start using them heavily on traffic exchanges. The Clickbank Pirate membership fee is $47 one time payment + $27 a month, so breaking even should be possible with just a few sales.

I just joined a few hours ago so it remains to be seen if this will work for me. It does look pretty promising so far though, and the idea that all you have to do is send traffic sure sounds nice. I'll keep you updated on my blog.

Go ahead and become a Clickbank Pirate like me. Arrrrrr!

247TrafficPro review

The newest addition to my traffic exchange list is a manual surf site called 247TrafficPro. It belongs to the same owners as two great autosurf exchanges that I'm a member of do, namely 247AutoHits and 365AutoHits so it comes as no surprise that 247TrafficPro is a top notch TE as well. It has a nice professional design, fast surfbar and a number of unique features about which I'm going to write in more detail.

First of all, 247TrafficPro has Hover Surfing which allows you to choose the correct shape on the surfbar without actually clicking it: just hovering your mouse over it is enough, and you can even set the delay in your member options (or disable it if you wish so). Actually, that's what I did since I find clicking to be faster and don't see much point in Hover Surf at all. However, it's nice to have the option and I'm sure some members must appreciate it.

Second, we have Activity Levels in which work similarly to those in StartXChange - but with much bigger rewards, I might add. You get activity points for surfing, referring, simply logging into your account, and promoting. You get a tiny number of activity points for promoting all over the web, and a much bigger amount for showing your referral URL in a special set of "approved" manual exchanges. As for rewards, there are weekly jackpots which combine credits, impressions and cash into one sweet prize. Top 10 members split the jackpot depending on the number of activity points that they accumulated throughout the week.

Finally, 247TrafficPro offers more handy additions that some other traffic exchanges have as well such as Private Messaging, a free rotator for promoting your websites using a single URL, personalized splash pages with your own text and picture, and a downline builder.

Overall 247TrafficPro is a very professional traffic exchange that looks great, loads lightning fast, offers great support and is a pleasure to surf due to responsive surfbar and clean sites. It seems to be a bit under the radar compared to the big boys, but that only means it will be easier to get referrals for you if you join right now. And don't miss the OTOs the first time you login (there's three offers in total - yearly gold membership, 4 months gold membership and an affordable free trial/discount subscription to Bronze which I picked up).

HitLink autosurf review

I've recently joined a brand new autosurf called HitLink. I bet you haven't seen an automatic traffic exchange like this before: it's an autosurf, but it also has social networking features such as friend lists, internal messaging, and rating or tagging of sites (all validated sites can be rated + or - by the members; they can also be tagged with searchable tags). We've seen plenty of such features in manual traffic exchanges like TrafficEra, but never before in an autosurf. HitLink also has other features like activity rank which rises from surfing, although that doesn't seem to do anything right now except for the informational value.

HitLink is growing fast. What are you waiting for? Sign up and start promoting your sites right now!

AdsVert review

This time I'd like to write about AdsVert: a great targeted text ad exchange system from the owner of TrafficG. AdsVert allows you to show simple and neat-looking text ads to a large audience on hundreds of different websites. You can target the visitors both by the interest channel (the topic of the website where the ads are shown), and by their continent or country. The ads can have the background color of your choice or bold titles for more visibility (both cost 0.5 additional credits per view).

To earn the impressions, you simply have to add one of their ad codes to your website. Unlike banner exchange codes, they are very safe since no graphics are included: only simple text ads and hyperlinks. AdsVert offers static and floating ad units of different sizes. Even if you don't have your own website, you can promote, say, a referral URL: just use the link AdsVert provides instead of your normal referral URL, and a floating text ad unit will be shown on top of it automatically! You can also buy clicks at affordable prices.

The best part about AdsVert is that you can show their text ads inside manual traffic exchanges! You are not allowed to display them inside autosurfs (and your account will be blocked for that), but manual exchanges are just fine. I use them with several of my splash pages to easily get some effective advertising & free traffic!

French autosurf: nice autosurf

This time I'd like to introduce a french autosurf that I joined recently. It's called nice autosurf and it really is nice since it is very active and has over 100,000 members (meaning more unique hits for you!). Even if you don't know French (I don't) you should manage to signup and find the link to the surfbar (it's called "Lance la visionneuse pour gagner des points"). If you run into any problems, you can always use Google Translate to make sure you understand what the site says. After you signup, it's the simple deal of starting the surfbar from your bookmarks just like with any other autosurf.

You might wonder why go through the trouble of signing up at a French autosurf, when there are so many English ones around. The thing is, if you are promoting traffic exchanges which give you credits or points for showing their referral URLs on autosurfs, you want to show them to a broad and fresh audience, and more importantly, you want unique IP hits. Same deal with PTPs where you want as many unique IPs as possible. That's why it's usually a good idea to get hits from other countries such as France or Germany. Besides, most Europeans are usually taught English as their second language in schools, so if you show your English website on a French traffic exchange, chances are, most people will understand what it's about.

TrExList.com lists several great foreign traffic exchanges in French, German, Italian, Spanish and more.

WebYourWay aka GetTheBar

I have recently stumbled upon a program called WebYourWay or GetTheBar (their promotional website). As you might have guessed from the name, it involves downloading a toolbar and then using it to make searches and click ads. The revenue is then shared with the users. They also offer a 7 level deep downline system and a free e-mail (BMail) that will also earn you some cash just for using it.

The payouts are made to your PayPal account once you reach $10 in cash balance.

I have a few concerns of course; mainly privacy and security, the fact that it's still in pre-launch and hasn't proven itself yet, and also the fact that they only make payments to US citizens for now (international members will be able to make money too, starting sometime between now and March. For now everyone can signup and start building their downlines). However, I do intend to signup, check it out, and promote it a little, with minimum investment until I'm sure it's trustworthy.

TopTierTraffic

Matthew Graves, the owner of WebBizInsider, has launched a new traffic exchange called TopTierTraffic. This brand new TE uses a clean layout that reminds me of PayPal and features an interesting surfing ladder system, similar to the one seen in TrafficPods or LinkCrews. The more you surf, the higher your Position is, and the more Virtual Referrals you get placed under you.

Here's a little excerpt from the TopTierTraffic member area that explains the whole thing:

It all starts with Position Points. Like all traffic exchanges, you earn Traffic Credits by surfing other member's websites using the surfbar. However, at TopTierTraffic, being an active participant in our community also earns you Position Points. Every action you do that helps other members, or helps build the community, will earn you Position Points. Surfing, clicking Text Ads and Banners, reading upline emails from other members and clicking their links inside, referring new members, even just showing your referral page, can all earn Position Points. This gives all the members a great incentive for being active in our community.

What do you do with Position Points? Well that is where the fun comes in. Each week, every member starts with 0 position points and they try to earn as many as possible so they can get to the top of the Weekly Position Point Leaderboard. The higher you are on the Leaderboard, the more members you get in your Virtual Downline for the following week. It is a forced matrix where the order is mixed up every week.

Midnight Sunday night, the point counters are set back to zero and everyone gets to hear about how many members are in their virutal downline for the next week. Your virtual downline works just like a multilevel real downline. You can email them once that week and you earn referral credits whenever they surf ... SIX LEVELS DEEP!
It is a fast-growing (mainly thanks to the members joining straight from WebBizInsider) traffic exchange that is sure to be among the industry leaders in the future. You can join now and enjoy the one-time premium mebership offer as well as be one of the first to signup. The exchange is in pre-launch phase and even the surfing isn't enabled yet as I'm typing this. I only hope that TopTierTraffic will also have a more secure surfbar than WebBizinsider currenly does.

365AutoHits.com is back

365AutoHits.com autosurf has been brought back by the owners after a long downtime. The site now uses a modern automatic traffic exchange script that allows you to access the surfbar directly without having to login, and my favorite feature: ability to convert credits into banner or text link impressions. The designers and programmers are still working on the site so some parts might be incomplete, but it's already looking great.

If you're out of ideas of what to promote in an autosurf, just save up credits and convert them to text link impressions. While CTR will be quite low (and understandably so), you won't have to spend any effort in earning the credits.

TrafficWitch launches

If you use a lot of traffic exchanges, you probably already heard about TrafficWitch - a brand new TE owned by Guido Nussbaum. I received newsletters from 4 traffic exchange owners eager to get referrals to this new site, and I bet I'll get more in the future. Oh well, let's see what the hype is all about.

TrafficWitch offers a dynamic surfing ratio both for free and upgraded members. For free ones (they're called Witch) it ranges from 3:1 to 2:1. For upgraded ones it's either 0.66 to 1.5 credits or 1 to 1.5 credits per click, depends which upgrade you buy. If you plan to ever upgrade here, you should check out the launch OTO (one-time-offer): they're giving away subscriptions to Sorcerer account level for $9.97/mo, while it normally costs $15.97/mo.

Otherwise TrafficWitch is just like any other traffic exchange running on LJScripts software. It does have a few add-ons like downline builder and downline mailer, but it's not like you will surprise anyone with these nowadays. It's most exceptional feature is most likely the unrivaled percentage of cash omissions they offer to upgraded members. Indeed, if you will upgrade to Sorcerer, you will enjoy a respectable 75% comission on referral upgrades and 10% on their credit purchases (most TEs don't pay anything for the latter; only a few ones like SmileyTraffic do).

BlogClicker is back

I would like to share the news that BlogClicker, a quality blog-only traffic exchange from the owners of TrafficG, is back to business. So if you have a blog, go ahead: register, add, surf, and get more visitors and readers. It's that simple - and even the blog approval is instant! (The exchange was just re-launched, so there might be bad leftover sites - but don't worry, they are getting weeded out bit by bit).

BlogClicker making a comeback is a welcome news indeed, since there's a lack of traffic exchanges for blogs. BlogExplosion is the only one that's functioning and sending traffic, although no one knows where the admins are, and the site approval takes a very long time. BlogSoldiers is as good as dead for now (delivering 1 hit a week or so), and the destiny of BlogMad is unknown: it's been in beta for a year, and doesn't answer any support e-mails. As it is, from blog exchangs I can only recommend joining the reloaded BlogClicker, and BlogExplosion if you're patient.
